Big Lizzie, Red Cliffs - Print

This is what happens when you go off book, right out of my comfort zone this one.  Finding the definitions of light and dark on a subject that is already very dark was very challenging, coupled with the fact machinery is not normally a subject matter I choose, however I am actually very pleased with this piece.

Built between 1915 and 1916, 'Big Lizzie' was constructed for the purpose of clearing desert scrub in the Mallee. It travelled 550 kilometres across country and took 2 years to arrive in Red Cliffs.
