I always slow down the car as I drive past this weathered red brick industrial fruit packaging building stretching low along the edges of the highway in rural New South Wales.

Re-created in watercolour and ink the sketch captures the gorgeous art deco lines of the architecture while leaving the washes of burnt sienna, Ochre and muted umber in the brickwork to tell us about her age and grandeur.
